Men's CC takes 28th at NCAAs; Wachter 50th

Senior Karl Wachter placed 50th in a field of 280 runners in wet, muddy conditions to lead Tommie Men's Cross Country to 28th place at Saturday's NCAA Championship race in Louisville, Ky.
Wachter, who clocked 25:07, improved 26 spots from his 2018 finish at nationals.
Freshman Zach Haire placed 141st (25:45); sophomore Biel Wiel took 184th (25:58); senior Collin Kiley took 222nd (26:13); junior Carl Kozlowski placed 226th (26:18); senior George McGivern closed in 231st (26:20); and sophomore Keegan Sansone was 244th (26:28).
Carleton (11th place) and St. Olaf (25th) were the other MIAC teams competing.
