Women's Tennis advances in playoffs, hits 15 wins

No. 3-seed St. Thomas scored a 5-0 win over No. 6-seed St. Catherine Tuesday at the U of M Gopher Baseline courts in Minneapolis.
Taylor McLeod and Catherine Lindsay each won in doubles and singles to help get the five clinching points. This is the fifth consecutive season that the Tommies (15-3) have reached or surpassed 15 wins.
The Toms will face No. 2-seed Carleton in this Thursday's semifinals in Northfield. UST lost 6-3 to Carleton two days ago.
It was the 20th victory in a row for UST in matches played indoors at the Baseline facility.
