St. Thomas sophomore Karl Wachter had a top-25 placing in a field of 325 finishers Saturday to lead his team at the Williams (Mass.) Invite. The Toms placed 12th of 28 teams. Wachter clocked 27:04 and was the eighth overall freshman or sophomore finisher on the day.
Freshman Carl Kozlowski (68th, 27:49), junior Parker Rosenau (82nd, 27:55) and sophomore Spencer Urick (97th, 28:12) also had top-100 finishes. Adam Berkowitz (28:32) and Scott Helstad (29:15) rounded out the UST finishers.
The Tommies will have some athletes compete Saturday in Northfield at the Carleton Invite.
