Shannon played on the Tommies' first NCAA national tournament team in 2002... helped the Tommies make three NCAA playoffs, win three MIAC championships, and post a four-year mark of 145-35 (82-6 in MIAC play)... a four-year starter who broke seven school batting records, was voted CoSIDA Academic All-American, broke Tommie career records for RBI (124), total bases (301), hits (199), slugging percentage (.574) and doubles (49)... broke season records for hits (64) and doubles (18)... finished career with 134 runs, four triples, 15 home runs and a .378 batting average.
