Nick Manciu graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1987. He was a three-time NCAA champ and a six-time All-American in cross country/track. He won the 1982 NCAA individual cross country championship, and was a member of two national champion cross country teams. He won two NCAA titles in the 10,000 meter run (1984, 1985). Manciu broke three school records, and still holds the outdoor 10K record. He also still holds the conference indoor meet record for 5,000.
