Mark Hentges

Mark Hentges graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1980. During his time at the University, Hentges was named to the All-American hockey team twice (1980 and 81) and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award in 1980. He held 4 St. Thomas records, including most career points scored (100 goals, 126 assists). He still ranks third in MIAC career scoring and held the St. Thomas season and career scoring record for 20 seasons. Hentges led St. Thomas in scoring for three consecutive seasons, and after graduation, played professionally in the Montreal Canadiens organization.
