Laurie Trow Kelly graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1993. As a student, Trow Kelly was a three-time All-American in women's basketball, and was named the 1991 NCAA Division III National Player of the Year. She averaged 29.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game in a five-game playoff run to the 1991 NCAA championships. She was a three-time conference MVP, leading the Tommies to a 98-15 record in her era, including a Division III-record 40-game winning streak. She still holds more than 20 MIAC and St. Thomas records, and ranks among the Division III career leaders in points (2,607) and rebounds (1,204). She was the first NCAA women's player to score in double figures for more than 100 games in a row (all 113).
