Greg Kaiser graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 2000. As a student, Kaiser was a three-time All-MIAC team member as a quarterback, and was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American. He tied the NCAA record with a 99-yard touchdown pass against Augsburg. Kaiser still ranks second on the St. Thomas career lists for passing and total offensive yards. He threw for 54 career touchdowns and only 23 interceptions. Kaiser led the 90-yard scoring drive to rally St. Thomas past St. John's to finish with a score of 31-27 in Mal Scanlan's final game. Kaiser was also All-American in track and field, and was a two-time MIAC champion in javelin, still holding the St. Thomas record in the event.
