Brent Longval graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a BA in 1994. As a student, Longval was named All-American and conference co-MVP (1993-94). He led the team to the school's Final Four berth in 1993-94, and was a two-time All-MIAC player. Longval had 1,119 career points, 375 rebounds, and ranks in the St. Thomas top 30 in each category. He broke the school record for most free throws made in a game (19) in the 1991-92 season. Longval played on three MIAC champion teams.
