An All-American baseball athlete, Lonnie had a 21-3 career record with 119 strikeouts in 106 innings... MIAC Pitcher of the Year in 2007, National Pitcher of the Week in April 2008 and Region Pitcher of the Year in 2008... in basketball, he was a 2-time All-Conference and All-Defensive Award Recipient... was three-year starter who played for a 30-1 team (rare 20-0 in MIAC) in 2008-09... in his career at St. Thomas, he won 15 of a possible 16 MIAC regular season and playoff championships in both basketball and baseball... played professionally with the St. Paul Saints.
