Spirit Squad Appearance Request
St. Thomas will begin accepting Spirit Squad (cheer, dance, mascot) requests for the 2024-25 school year on August 30.
Tommie is the symbol of the University of St. Thomas, while the Spirit Squad (cheer and dance teams) represent St. Thomas at events across the Twin Cities and nationally. Tommie is available for appearances at a variety of events within the University of St. Thomas and private functions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- A minimum of two weeks notice is required for any appearance.
- Any request received less than two (2) weeks prior to your event may not be granted. Requests received more than three (3) months prior to the event will not be scheduled and will need to be re-submitted within a three (3) month window.
- Due to time constraints and availability, not all requests can be fulfilled. You will be notified approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your event if your request has been approved or cannot be accommodated.
- Upon receipt of your request, you will receive an email confirmation.
- Only requests made through this form, filled out in its entirety, will be considered.
- Appearances must have a private changing room or area away from guests and a place where belongings can be safely stored.
- Outdoor events may require that Tommie take a 10-minute break every 30 minutes, weather depending.
- Events requested during University finals week (excluding athletic department events) will not be granted.
- Events requested during major holidays (i.e. Christmas, New Years, 4th of July, etc.) or University breaks (winter break, etc.) may not be granted, depending on availability.
- University Department Appearance: $50.00/hr + mileage + parking if necessary
- Non-University Department Appearance: $100.00/hr + mileage + parking if necessary
