VanArragon receives second career Peak Performer of the Week

The sophomore was named the Peak Performer of the Week after her win at the Tommie Invite
ST. PAUL, Minn. – Sophomore, Kathryn VanArragon, a native of Blaine, Minn. was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week for her winning performance at the Tommie Invite. She led her team to its second consecutive Tommie Invite title along with reclaiming her crown at the Tommies' home event.
VanArragon finished two strokes lower than the 32-golfer field with a 75-72-73—220 (+4). The sophomore rounded into shape, shooting an even-par second round with three birdies to bounce back from a 75 (+3) first round. The tournmant victory was the first of her season and second of her career.
She began the second day of the tournament continuing her strong play from day one with four birdies and eight pars through the first 13 holes (-3), but finished the final round one stroke above par. She led her team after every round, posting the lowest individual scores and led the field with 10 total birdies.
VanArragon received one Peak Performer of the Week, one Peak Performer of the Month, and the Summit League's Newcomer of the Year honor during her sensational freshman campaign last season. This is her first selection as Peak Performer of the Week this season.
