Tommie Cross Country announces 2023 schedules

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The University of St. Thomas cross country programs released their 2023 schedules Friday, which includes seven meets for the women and five for the men beginning Sept. 1.

Both the men's and women's teams open the season Friday, Sept. 1 in the Augustana Twilight at Yankton Trails Park in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The programs both take a 21-day break between competitions before running in the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota at the Les Bolstad Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 22.

Both Tommie squads return to action a week later Friday, Sept. 29 at the Joe Piane Invitational hosted by the University of Notre Dame at Burke Golf Course. The women will also send runners to the Blugold Invite at the Whitetail Golf Course hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Two weeks later, the Tommies return to competition at the Pink Classic hosted by Bradley University on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Ill.

The women complete their final regular season race of the season Saturday, Oct. 21 at Rocky's Run hosted by Minnesota at the Les Bolstad Golf Course.

The 2023 Summit League Cross Country Championships will be hosted by South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D., on Saturday, Oct. 28.
