St. Thomas, FOX 9 announce finalized broadcast schedule

Thirteen Tommie home events to air on FOX 9+, one on FOX 9
ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas Director of Athletics, Dr. Phil Esten, KMSP FOX 9 and WFTC FOX 9+ Senior Vice President and General Manager Marian Davey, announced the finalized broadcast schedule for Tommie athletics. The local FOX networks will air 14 St. Thomas home events throughout the 2023-24 academic year, including the Xcel Energy Center hockey games on October 13, 2023.
In early September, St. Thomas and FOX 9 announced a year-long partnership with FOX 9+ to air selected Tommie home events for football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's hockey. On Monday, the two organizations announced the finalized schedule, which includes 14 broadcasts of St. Thomas home events. The network will broadcast the final three home football games of 2023, three men's basketball and women's hockey games, and two women's basketball and men's hockey games. Two of those hockey broadcasts will be the Xcel Energy Center games, with the men's faceoff against the Gophers airing directly on FOX 9.
In addition to the Xcel Energy Center games, FOX 9+ will air five total games between football (October 7 vs. Butler; October 28 vs. Marist), men's hockey (October 13 vs. Minnesota), and women's hockey (October 13 vs. Minnesota; October 21 vs. Ohio State) throughout five weekends. Two games will air during November, including the men's basketball home opener against Idaho State and football's season finale against Valparaiso. Men's hockey will air on the final broadcast of 2023, with FOX 9+ set to showcase its series finale against Minnesota State on December 9.
St. Thomas basketball and hockey will take center stage in January and February, with five games set to air those two months. The Tommies will air on FOX 9+ every Saturday in February, with men's basketball (February 17) and women's basketball (February 3, February 10) the first three weekends. The women's hockey team will take on Minnesota State in the final FOX 9+ broadcast of the academic year on February 24.
FOX 9+, your ticket to local sports, reaches nearly two million homes and can be found on Comcast channel 10/807, DirecTV channel 29, DISH channel 29, Spectrum channel 10, Mediacom channel 10/803, and Over-The-Air channel 9.2. In addition, these games will be available on FOX 9+ on Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV, FuboTV, and YouTube TV.
