St. Thomas Men's Swim-Dive played host to Hamline athletes for the Conference Invitational meet at Anderson Pool.

The Tommies will take next week off and compete in the MIAC Championships at the U of M Aquatic Center Feb. 14-17.

 

Men's Highlights

St. Thomas won all 17 men's pool races events, while the women won 14 of 17.

The Tommies' conference-meet lineup competed one day, and remaining athletes competed parts of two days. The Tommies had season-best times in the 200 free relay (first in MIAC this season) and the 400 free relay (third in MIAC).

  • Michael Foss had a season-best and MIAC-best time in the 50 free of 21.29 and the MIAC's third best time in the 100 free;
  • Garrett Riley had season-best times in the 100 free and 50 free and also the second-best and fifth-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Lucas Manke had season-best times in the 200 fly, 200 IM, and 400 IM, also the MIAC's second-best, fourth-best and fourth-best times this season;
  • Joey Vacura had season-best times in the 200 and 100 breast and also the third best and fourth-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Eric Bergeson had season-best times in the 200 breast, 200 IM and 400 IM and also the fourth-best, sixth-best and 11th-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Nate Stone had a season-best time in the 500 free and also the fifth-best time this season in the MIAC;
  • Jacob Rear had season-best times in the 100 breast and 200 fly and also the sixth-best and 14th-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Collin Moon had season-best times in the 1650 free and 1000 free and the MIAC's seventh and eighth best time in those events;
  • Jake Appino had season-best times in the 100 back and 100 fly and also the eighth-best and 18th-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Kam Loven had season-best times in the 200 back and 100 back and also the fourth and 10th-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Jason Tri had season-best times in the 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 back and also the eighth-best, eighth-best and ninth-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • James Bussey had season-bests time in the 200 fly, 100 fly and 100 breast and also the fifth-best, sixth-best and ninth-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Omar Omar had a season-best time in the 200 back and also the 15th-best time this season in the MIAC;
  • Carter Kramer had a season-best time in the 50 free and also the 13th-best time this season in the MIAC;
  • Mark Teske had a season-best time in the 50 free and also the 15th-best time this season in the MIAC;
  • Joe Herrli had season-best times in the 100 back and 1000 free and also the fifth and 12th-best times this season in the MIAC;
  • Mark Voss had a season-best time in the 500 free and also the 12th-best time this season in the MIAC;
