Senior All-American Nikki Arola won the 400 meters in 60.48 and ran on the Toms' first-place 4x400 relay in 4:08.35 to lead the Toms' performances at Friday's four-team St. Olaf Invite. No team scores were kept.
Molly Demmer (1:39.80) and Cathy Reeves (1:40.48) placed 2-3 in the 600. In the 600, Taylor Berg was third in 3:03.65, and Raynee DeGrio (3:13.82) and Betsy Hupp (3:22.85) placed fourth and fifth.
Julianna Gorder was second in the long jump (16-3). Freshman Kristie Miller was sixth in the long jump (14-9 3-4) and fourth in the triple jump (31-11 1-4).
In the shot put, UST placed 2-3-4-7 with Felisha Willaert (38-8 3-4), Sarah Lemke (38-5), Nicole Flackey (37-5 3-4) and Amy Maas (35-4). In the weight throw, the Toms placed 2-3-5-6-8 with Megan Honan (49-10 1-2), Jenna Lewis (45-5 3-4), Maas (44-3 1-2), Sarah Lemke (42-6) and Flackey (38-7 1-2).
In the 55 hurdles, Laura Janas placed second (8.94); Gina Michaels took fourth (9.71); Traci Pastoors was fifth (9.73); and Angela McGehee was sixth (9.77).
In the 55 dash, Jenny Ewing was third in 7.63 and Arola was fifth in 7.70. Ewing also placed fifth in the 200 meters in 27.32.
Michaels took third in the high jump (4-5) and McGehee placed fourth in the pole vault (9-6 1-4).
