The Tommie women’s tennis team (8-4 overall, 4-1 MIAC) lost its first MIAC match of 2012 with Tuesday’s 6-3 decision to a senior-dominated St. Ben’s team.

For St. Thomas, Mary Allen and Claire Elkins won a hard-fought battle at first doubles and Kara Lefsrud and Brittany Alexander won at 3-4 singles.

UST plays Sunday vs. St. Mary’s.
