St. Thomas has a partial squad of four players entered in the Saturday-Sunday UW-Eau Claire Invite and placed 10th of 21 teams. Nationally-ranked Gustavus (630) edged the host Eau Claire top team (633) by three strokes for first place.
The Tommies scored 700, led by Katie Mich's 83-86/169 good for a tie for 24th in the field of 111 finishers. Amy Anderson had the fourth best score on Sunday with a 78 after a first-round 93. She tied for 30th at 171. Shannon Richter shot 90-88/178 and Cassy Norton shot 89-93.
UST's two-time All-American Laura Heck is coming back from an injury and likely will miss the first couple of meets of the fall.
