Women's Golf gets team berth into May 13-16 NCAA meet

The MIAC runner-up St. Thomas women's golf team received one of 10 at-large berths into next week's Division III Championship meet in Port St. Lucie, Fla. The four-day, 72-hole meet runs May 13-16.
Coach Sara Evens' Tommies are in the national field for the fifth time in the last eight seasons. They placed fifth nationally in 2007 and seventh last year.
The Tommies join other Midwest teams Gustavus, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Eau Claire and Wartburg in the 21-team field.
