Women's Golf fourth at Carleton Invite

Laura Heck finished fourth out of 46 players to lead St. Thomas to fourth place in the 11-team Carleton Spring Invite.

No. 3-ranked UW-Stevens Point took first at 648, followed by second-ranked Gustavus (654), No. 11-rated UW-Eau Claire (668), No. 6-ranked UST (702), St. Ben's (704), Carleton and No. 15-ranked UW-Whitewater (both 708), and St. Olaf (715).

Steph Hird tied for 24th at 175; Amy Anderson tied for 30th at 180; Katie Mich and Megan Owens tied for 37th at 188; and Kelly Westerham shot 96-98/194.  

UST will play host to the St. Thomas Invitational next Saturday and Sunday in Becker. Nine other MIAC teams will compete in that event.
