Senior Amy Anderson won medalist honors in a field of 36 players to lead the Tommies to second place in the six-team St. Ben's Fall Classic. The two-day, 36-hole event concluded Sunday in Sartell.
St. Cloud State won at 675, 16 better than the Tommies. UST topped third-place St. Ben's by 10 strokes and Carleton by 21 strokes.
Anderson shot 79-80/159 and had her third top-five finish of the fall. Katie Mich placed sixth at 84-90/174; Cassy Norton tied for ninth at 87-89/176; Shannon Richter shot 96-87/183; and Kelly Westerham shot 98-89/187.
The Tommies compete next Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the MIAC Championships.
