St. Thomas golfer Amy Anderson (SR-Detroit Lakes, Minn.) today was named MIA
C Player of the Week -- the first such honor in her career.
Anderson was the highest finishing MIAC golfer at the Wartburg Invitational over the weekend, placing fifth out of 103 golfers with a 36-hole total of 13-over-par 155. Anderson had the field's third best round on Sunday firing a 76.
St. Thomas placed sixth out of 20 teams at the Invitational held at Centennial Oaks in Waverly, Iowa.
Anderson has an 81.5 stroke average over four rounds this fall. In 20 rounds in 2008-09, Anderson had an 83.9 average.
