The Tommie women's golf team finished fourth out of 13 teams at the 36-hole St. Thomas Invitational at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minn. The final 18 holes were played Sunday.
Tommie junior Laura Heck tied for sixth place in a field of 67 players with a score of 80-78/158. Amy Anderson shot 84-81/165, Katie Mich shot 86-87/173, Megan Owens shot 87-89/176 and Steph Hird shot 89-85/174.
Gustavus (308-314/622) took first by 17 strokes. Placing second through ninth were UW-Stevens Point (323-316/639), UW-Eau Claire (336-327/663), UST (337-331/668), St. Ben's (329-343/672), Carleton (339-341/680), UW-Whitewater (345-350/695), St. Olaf (352-350/702) and Wartburg (360-343/703). Luther (364-353/717), Bethel (383-372/755), Augsburg (396-384/780) and Concordia-Moorhead (391-394/785) rounded out the team scores.
