Laura Heck starts spring season well in Kentucky

Laura Heck tied for ninth out of 116 players as she carded a 75 and helped St. Thomas tie for 12th out of 20 teams at Saturday's Northern Kentucky Spring Invite. The Toms tied for third among six Division III teams with a score of 323.
Sunday's final 18 holes were canceled by rain.
Amy Anderson tied for 18th at 77; Katie Mich shot 84; Steph Hird shot 87, and Megan Owens shot 95.
No. 6-ranked UST is scheduled to compete Saturday and Sunday at the Wartburg Invite. Six other teams ranked in the top 25 will also compete – No. 2 Gustavus, No. 9 Wartburg, No. 11 UW-Eau Claire, No. 15 UW-whitewater, No. 24 Luther and No. 25 Carleton.
