St. Thomas locked up a share of the MIAC Championship in a 2-0 week and moved up one place to No. 9 in this week's Division III volleyball national rankings by the American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA).
Coach Thanh Pham's Tommies (24-6 overall) have been ranked in the top 25 in 56 consecutive polls and been in the top 15 for a conference-record 49 polls in a row.
Two other MIAC teams are ranked -- St. Ben's remained at No. 16 and St. Olaf moved up one spot to No. 21.
St. Thomas plays a Thursday night MIAC semifinal playoff match (7:30 p.m.) near campus at Concordia University's Gangelhoff Center.
UW-Oshkosh beat Juniata and switched places with the Pennsylvania school atop the polll.
