Volleyball team set for June 4-12 Italy trip

St. Thomas returns All-Region setter Emily Foster and All-American Katie McCaffrey from a 28-5 team.
The St. Thomas volleyball team leaves Wed. June 4 for a nine-day trip to Italy. Coach Thanh Pham's team will play two exhibition matches on the first overseas trip in the program's history.
The Tommies' first match will be Saturday vs. the Pieve a Nievole Women’s Volleyball Club, and they also play June 9 vs. Borgo a Buggiano Women’s Volleyball Club.
The trip includes stops in Milan, Montecatini, Florence, Venice, Pisa, Lucca and Rome.
