Loras' Lauren Bolnius scored in the 19th minute and it was enough to hold off No. 20-ranked St. Thomas, 1-0, in an NCAA Women's Soccer playoff game Saturday night in Whitewater, Wis.

The Tommies (17-3-1) had a 7-4 edge in shots on goal and a 19-10 overall shots advantage but couldn't get the tying tally.

St. Thomas had four corner kicks in the final 25:00 but couldn't convert any into goals.

Coach Sheila McGill's team repeated as conference champion and recorded 15 shutouts. UST graduates just two seniors on a 26-player roster -- keeper Tarynn Theilig and midfield ace Taylor Skorik.

Loras (12-3-3) plays Sunday night against UW-Whitewater.
