Women's Hockey falls 5-1 to No. 2-ranked team

No. 2-ranked UW-River Falls received five goals from five different skaters in a 23:00 mid-game span en route to a 5-1 defeat of St. Thomas in non-conference women's hockey play Tuesday night in Mendota Heights.

Angie Hall stopped 24 of 25 shots for the Falcons (19-1). River Falls converted its first two power plays.

UST's Erika Bjorkman scored her second goal of the season in the final two minutes, assisted by Leah Schwartzman.

St. Thomas (5-8-3) plays Friday night in St. Cloud against St. Ben's.
