St. Thomas Women's Golf had Sunday's best score with a school-record 292 en route to a third-place finsh in Phoenix at the 36-hole George Fox Invite.
Four of last year's top nine NCAA team finishers competed here this weekend, including NCAA runner-up Texas-Tyler and third-place George Fox.
The Toms, played a par-71 course this weekend, and beat the previous school record by five shots.
Texas-Tyler won at 593, followed by George Fox at 606, St. Thomas at 611, Redlands at 614, Pomona-Pitzer at 617 and Trinity at 632.
Emily Thul shot 76-72/146 and tied for third place out of 34 players. Kate Drimel (80-73) and Marja Sorenson (79-74) tied for 12th at 153. Morgan McCorkle shot 73 and Rachel Morris shot 79 giving UST five players with Sunday rounds in the 70s.
