*First Team All- MIAC*

Lauren’ shooting ability was a key factor in UST’s success.  Connecting on a MIAC leading 47.9% of her three point tries (46-96) and 7th overall for made 3’s, she earned 1st All-MIAC honor.  She started and played in all 30 games shoot 52.4% from the field while grabbing 5 rebounds per contest.  Lauren scored a season high, 18 points going 4 out of 6 from three point land vs Bethel and poured in 10 or more points in more than 10 games.

2014-2015:  Appeared in 23 games… Averaged 2.5 points per game and 0.9 rebounds per game while shooting 35.5% from 3pt field goal… Scored a career high nine points against Augsburg (12/13)…Recorded a career high three rebounds against UW-Stevens Point (11/30).

Prior to St. Thomas: Attended Lourdes Academy in Oshkosh, WI… Was named Trailways All-Conference during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons… Was awarded academic all-conference in 2012-13 and 2013-14… High school team was Trailways Conference Champs all four years of her high school career… High school team was WIAA State Championship Runner-Up during the 2011-12 season… WBCA All-Star Selection her senior year… Multi-sport athlete that lettered all four years in basketball and two years in volleyball.

 Personal:  Studying Operations Management… Parents are Matt and Mary Fischer of Oshkosh, WI… Has one sibling, Rachel Fischer.

I chose UST because:  It has a great location and academic reputation, plus the perfect distance from home.

What did you do this summer?...Travelled to NYC, went on hiking adventures around Wisconsin, worked at a bakery.


What do you enjoy most about your teammates or the basketball program?...We work hard but always find a way to have fun :)


 What makes St. Thomas Special?... St Thomas is special because of the strong sense of community and the many opportunities that come with being located in a large city.


What advice do you have for future Tommie Basketball players?... Keep putting in the extra time and work, and always remember to have fun!


What is your favorite meal?... My mom's spaghetti pie.

 Who is your favorite athlete?...Steph Curry and Randall Cobb
