Men's Tennis shuts down SMU in opener

St. Thomas Men's Tennis used seven different players in Sunday's 9-0 defeat of St. Mary's in MIAC play at the University of Minnesota Baseline courts.

Luke Elifson and Martin Beck swept first doubles and Nos. 1 and 4 singles. Scott Wall was victorious at No. 2 singles and doubles.

Tommie freshman Sterling Sibley picked up his first collegiate dual-match victory.

The Tommies will return to the Baseline facility next Sunday Feb. 12 to play Cornell (Iowa).
