Men's Hockey tops Hamline 6-4

Benjamin Myers had 37 saves and six different players scored the team's six goals Saturday night as Tommie Men's Hockey closed out a weekend sweep of No. 15-ranked Hamline, 6-4, on home ice in Mendota Heights.

UST's Jeff Boeser won his 100th game in his seven-year head coaching career with Friday's 3-2 road defeat of the Pipers. His Tommies started him toward the next victory milestone as they rolled Saturday.

The Toms got nine goals on the series from eight different players and killed eight of nine Hamline power-play chances. They hold the conference lead as the lone unbeaten with 16 points at 5-0-1.

Hamline (6-3-2, 3-3) outshot UST 41-34 but never led.

St. Thomas (6-2-3) is 5-0-2 over its last six games. It's 6-0-2 this season in games where it scores two or more goals.

UST travels to play No. 3-ranked St. Norbert On Dec. 10.
