Softball opens California tourney with two Sat. games
March 26, 2010The St. Thomas softball team starts its spring trip Saturday with two games in the Sun West Tournament in Orange, Calif.
The Tommies play at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Minnesota time against Tufts and St. Olaf. They will play two games on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
St. Thomas went 2-4 in the season-opening NFCA Leadoff Classic two weeks ago in Florida.
