Men's T&F's Dunne leads 1-2-3 finish in decathlon

The Tommie men's track and field team placed 1-2-3 in the decathlon to secure 24 team points for the MIAC outdoor track and field championships. The two-day multi-event competition concluded Friday in Northfield.

Senior Maxwell Dunne (6,201 points) and juniors Gavin Yseth (6,151) and Patrick Ecklund (5,898) took the top three spots for St. Thomas. C.J. Dale of Carleton placed fourth (5,747).

The remaining 20 men's outdoor track and field events will be contested May 11-12 in Moorhead.
