Tommie Tennis teams start MIAC playoffs Fri.

The Tommie men's and women's tennis teams start competition Friday in the 2012 playoffs in St. Peter.

The Tommie men (10-5) are seeded fourth and will face No. 5-seed Macalester (9-10) at 3 p.m. The winner likely faces top-seed Gustavus Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

The UST women (10-7) are seeded fifth and will face No. 4 seed St. Ben's (12-7) at noon. The winner likely will play top-seed Carleton Saturday at 9 a.m.

There will be live stats by host Gustavus with in-match updates for all playoff matches.
