Men's Soccer starts with 2-2 tie vs. Puget Sound

Senior Brett Day scored a goal and an assist as the Tommie men's soccer team opened its 2012 season with a 2-2 tie in two overtimes against Puget Sound. The game was played in St. Peter at Gustavus.

Day's goal in the 81st minute put St. Thomas ahead 2-1. But Puget tied the game with a redirect goal in the 87th minute.

Alex Bernhardt scored the first Tommie goal in the 16th minute.

St. Thomas plays Sunday at noon against UC-Santa Cruz.
