Balance fuels Men's Hockey's 2-0 start

The St. Thomas men's hockey team got goals from four different players in Sunday's 4-2 vcitory over Concordia in the MIAC Showcase in Bllaine.

The Tommies (2-0) outscored foes 11-4 on the weekend games, including five power-play goals. UST is 5-for-11 on the power play thus far this season.

Freshman Jeff Sadjadi stopped 15 of 17 shots in goal to improve to 2-0.

Ten different Toms had a point, led by Riley Horgam and Matt Lipinski with a goal and an assist. Kevin Sienko and Evan Mackintosh scored first-period goals for UST, which never trailed.

St. Thomas plays Friday at home against St. Olaf in another non-conference game.
