Men's Golf 7th at Johnnies' tourney

The Tommie men's golf team placed seventh at Sunday's 36-hole St. John's Invitational men's golf tournament at the Monticello CC. UST had rounds of 300-292/592.

John Young tied for 13th in a field of 89 players with scores of 73-71/144. Freshmen Alex Kapraun (75-74/149) and Bennett Schroeder (76-73/149) tied for 33rd. Michael Mortenson (76-74/150) tied for 40th. 

Pat Larkin shot 79-71/160 to tie for 33rd and lead the UST No. 2 team.

The Tommies will compete in two weeks at the NCAA Division III Championships in Orlando.
