Tommie RHP-DH Dylan Thomas on Monday was named MIAC baseball's Player of the Week. Thomas (JR-Lakeville/North), a junior-college transfer, was named MIAC Pitcher of the Week two weeks earlier.

Thomas contributed to back to back doubleheader sweeps of Carleton and Bethel that let UST secure the MIAC championship and set a school record with their 19th win in a row. He had a save and the game winning RBI in an 8-7 win over Carleton. He pitched a four-hit shutout to beat Bethel 2-0. At the plate he was 7-for-13 in the four games.

Monday afternoon, No. 2-ranked St. Thomas added two more wins at Concordia-Moorhead and Thomas went 5-for-7 at the plate to raise his season average to .477.
